Linear has the same problem we saw at Stripe: it outgrew its original audience but the homepage still speaks to the niche that already converted. “Issue tracking is dead” lands as a manifesto for existing Linear users who hate Jira — Marcus saw “Linear grew up,” Rio bounced with “too techy, too fast.” The “AI era” bridge tries to widen the door and ends up vague. But the real leak isn’t the copy. Five strangers, two scrolls, no sign-up button. The most confident landing page in dev tools forgot to give you a way in.
